01

Guide every signer

Place signature, initials, date and other fields where each person needs to act.

02

Keep everyone in order

Invite recipients together or move the document through a signing sequence.

03

Keep the completed record

Download the completed PDF and a separate certificate once everyone has signed.

01

Start with the agreement you already use

Upload a PDF, or bring a Word, RTF, ODT or text document for conversion to PDF. Add each recipient and place the fields they need, including signatures, initials, dates, text, checkboxes and dropdowns. A supplier agreement can capture a name and signature; an onboarding document can also collect the choices your team needs to proceed.

Review the document and recipient details before sending. If another colleague needs to check the wording, save a draft and return to it later. You can edit an unsent draft without starting again. Required fields help the recipient understand what is outstanding before submitting their signature.

02

Make the next step obvious

Recipients open their own signing link and review the document in the browser without creating a TrustInk account. They complete their assigned fields and explicitly consent to sign electronically. When an access code is configured, they must also enter that code to reach the document.

Choose sequential signing when one person must sign before another, or parallel signing when the recipients can act independently. Set a reminder interval and an expiry date to suit the agreement. The workspace shows recipient progress, so the sender can see who has viewed or signed instead of relying on an email thread.

03

Finish with a document you can work with

When all recipients have signed, TrustInk creates the completed PDF with the entered fields and a completion record. The sender can download the document and a standalone certificate. The audit history adds context about the signing activity when a colleague later needs to understand how the agreement progressed.

Before your first live send, verify a sending domain in Settings and check your plan’s sending allowance. Choose the authentication and document review process appropriate to the transaction; TrustInk’s signing records support your review but do not replace it.

Common questions

Does the recipient need a TrustInk account?

No. A recipient uses their signing link in the browser. If the sender sets an access code, the recipient also needs that code. The sender manages the document from their TrustInk workspace.

Can I prepare a document now and send it later?

Yes. Save it as a draft, then reopen it to review the file, recipients, fields and delivery settings. Draft editing is available before the document is sent.

What can I download after signing?

The sender can download the completed PDF and a standalone Certificate of Completion. These records bring together the document and information about the signing process.
